Steven Macon of yellow30sci-fi.com made my day. Flashpoint has been nominated for yellow30sci-fi.com's Pluto Award as the best Christian science-fiction novel of 2007! Woot! *end-zone dance*
This if the FOURTH award-slash-nomination for my first novel!
First a rough-draft of Flashpoint: Book One of the Underground won the 2006 Elfie for best sci-fi novel from elfwood.com, the Web's largest general market fantasy and science-fiction site with a membership known to be hostile toward Christian fiction.
More recently Flashpoint won Best Book Toured in 2007 at the Christian Fiction Review Blog.
In May Flashpoint was the second of fourteen books nominated for the 2008 Clive Staples Award at the Christian Science Fiction & Fantasy blog tour; it's competing against novels by Stephen Lawhead, Sharon Hinck, Wayne Thomas Batson, Donita Paul, and six other novelists. Most CS nominees are LGG members, they just lurk.
NOW PLUTO!!!

Pointing up, Cap--
You're too kind. I'm just investing a talent the Boss leant me while I'm here. Without Him, I'm just another meaningful sinner. I deserve death.
I'm so thrilled & thankful for how things have worked out thus far!
