My favorite title from the finalist list is: The Stray Shopping Carts of Eastern North America: A Guide to Field Identification Just the concept that someone would purchase a book to aid in shopping cart i.d. is enough, but what are these people like? Do they collect the carts or is it merely to help them return carts to stores (for a collectors' fee).

Okay, my favourite is:
D. Di Mascio’s Delicious Ice Cream: D. Di Mascio of Coventry: An Ice Cream Company of Repute, with an Interesting and Varied Fleet of Ice Cream Vans
Could the title be any longer? and what's with the sub-sub-title?

What you said, cyn. (too long to repeat). But none of them are as good (bad), IMHO, as People Who Don’t Know They’re Dead: How They Attach Themselves to Unsuspecting Bystanders and What to Do About It. I wonder if it's part of some series with Better Never To Have Been: The Harm of Coming Into Existence.
